"Pacciani Lotto"--The architect Andrea Pacciani commissioned this design for his
"Ushak, Atelier of Wonders" shop in
Parma Italy (www.andreapacciani.com).
It takes an
accurate analysis of the
carpet depicted in the Lorenzo Lotto painting "The Alms of St.
Anthony" as its inspiration. This carpet is approximately 54"x80"
(pile area) with long medium blue kilim ends and attenuated ivory
warp fringes. It was woven in Afyon by Fadime Cicek,
Dursun Kilic & Elif Altin, and completed in December of 2008. |
